Hilary Barry is a very famous and well-known New Zealand journalist and television presenter. Currently, she is working as a co-host of TVNZ’s Breakfast with Jack Tame. She was born on 4 December 1969. Hilary Barry attended Queen Margaret College in Wellington from 1980 to 1987. Later she completed Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics at Victoria University of Wellington and a certificate of journalism. Hilary Barry began her career as a reporter for radio 89.3 TODAY FM which is now known as More FM Wairarapa. In 1993, she became TV3 news reporter in Christchurch and then moved to Auckland to work as a reporter on 3 News. Hilary Barry resigned from MediaWorks in 2016, she had been with the company for 23 years. In 2006, Hilary Barry received Favorite New Zealand Female Personality Award at Qantas Television Award.
